Epson America Inc., a provider of value-added point of sale solutions, has partnered with TransactionTree Inc., a provider of digital receipt solutions for the retail industry and other transaction-oriented enterprises, allowing TransactionTree to source data from Epson’s OmniLink merchant services platform, according to a press release.
The partnership will allow TransactionTree customers to take advantage of the real-time, actionable data generated by Epson’s OMS, which enhances the digital receipts by giving business owners more dynamic, personalized content on their customers' contact information and preferences. Epson's OMS platform offers an integrated solution that will work across tablets, mobile devices, multiple locations and with virtually any POS system.
"Our partnership with Epson provides merchants with an invaluable data resource on consumers and on consumers' transactional information," Jason Shapiro, CEO and co-founder of TransactionTree, said in the release. "Together we enable retailers to connect more effectively with customers and better understand shopping behavior. When retailers understand and communicate effectively with their customers, they can expect higher satisfaction and sales rates, ultimately increasing their return on investment."
