Entertainment kiosk firm lands angel funding

July 14, 2002

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Showintel Networks Inc., which installs advertising plasma screens and loyalty kiosks at movie theaters, announced on July 12 that it has landed a minimum commitment of $200,000 from a group of angel investors.

The funding commitment will enable the company to install its Showintel Systems at 11 cinemas in Arkansas, Illinois, Missouri, and Tennessee. The company currently has systems installed in five theatres.

Showintel provides theaters with kiosks that allow customers to purchase merchandise and earn points toward free movie tickets. The company's plasma screens display upcoming movie releases and advertising.

The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Multinet International Corp. Inc. (OTCBB:MNIL).
