EMN8 raises nearly $14.4M for self-service sales kiosks
March 31, 2010
San Diego-based self-service kiosk developer EMN8 says it is less than $200,000 away from its goal of raising more than $14.4 million in venture funding.
The company specializes in point-of-transaction kiosks with a focus on quick-service restaurant applications. Company clients include the fast-food chains Carl's Jr. and Jack in the Box.
According to a March 16 Xconomy San Diego report, the company inked a manufacturing, marketing and support deal with New York-based computer giant IBM. The agreement focuses on EMN8's OrderM8 4000, a kiosk designed for quick-service restaurant applications.
