Electromate to distribute Mecademic robotic arms

Electromate Inc. a Canadian distributor of robotic and mechatronic solutions, has teamed with Mecademic, a Montreal based manufacturer of industrial robots, to distribute its robotic arms, according to a press release.

Mecademic robots are are plug-and-work automation components that integrate with any PC or PLC, don't require a proprietary programming language, do not require training and are compatible with other automation components.

Applications include assembly, pick and place, dispensing, machine tending and micro-manipulation.
