DynaTouch congratulates VA for surpassing 5 million health project users

February 18, 2020

DynaTouch, which has worked closely with VA Medical centers to develop kiosk technology and interactive solutions for patient and visitor self-service, recently congratulated the VA for surpassing an 5 million users this year for its My HealtheVet project, according to a press release.

My HealtheVet empowers veterans to manage their healthcare online, all from one source. The program allows veterans to refill their prescriptions, view scheduled VA appointments, send secure messages to their health care providers and download their personal health records.

"My HealtheVet is a shining example of how veterans can play a more active role in their health care journey," VA Secretary Robert Wilkie said about the accomplishment in a prepared statement. "VA is committed to providing the necessary technologies to ensure that Veterans receive care when and where they need it."

The TIPS MHV Express Kiosks have helped to facilitate over 4.5 million user sessions for veterans since their addition in 2010, according to the press release. The kiosks provide users with point-of-service access to the VA’s patient portal — increasing awareness, enrollment and continued active use in the program.
