Dubai taxi company deploys kiosk for driver services

The Dubai Taxi Corporation at the country's Roads and Transport Authority has launched a digital kiosk to facilitate transaction processing and services offered to taxi drivers, according to Emirates 24/7. 

Ammar Al Buraiki, director of DTC resources and support, said the kiosk enables taxi drivers to apply for leave and access salary certificate, insurance details, test results and a Dubai map in addition to reporting traffic accidents and other needs related to travel or driving licenses. The app provides an early distress call feature linking the driver to the control center during emergencies.
