FREMONT, Calif. - Touch Controls Inc., a kiosk manufacturer focused on rugged industrial solutions, will showcase its products for the first time in 2002 at the National Manufacturing Week show in Chicago March 18-21.
The show will be one of the company's first since Touch Controls was purchased by industrial computer manufactuer Dolch Computer Systems last October (See story: Dolch Computer Systems purchases Touch Controls). The company's products will be part of Dolch's booth.
Among the products to be displayed is the SafeTTouch EX, a flame-proof touchscreen workstation certified for use in Class I, Division 1 industrial areas. The workstation features an infrared touch display.
"Touch Controls represents a natural evolution for the Dolch brand," Dolch president Jim Ciardella said in a news release. "There is a strong market demand for rugged display products that can survive in extremely harsh and hazardous environments."
