Dog food vending machine boasts facial AI

A dog food vending innovation, from Finnish dog food maker Hau-Hau, features AI facial recognition.

The machine also features a UV light disinfection technology, according to a Cryptopolitan.com report. The vending machine allows canine customers to sample a meal before buying Hau-Hau's food.

A dog is able to taste a sample of the food, and once done, the bowl on the machine is cleaned by the UV technology before the next sample customer.

It was developed by TBWA\Helsinki and is a working prototype, according to the report.

The AI aspect ensures the machine only offers samples to dogs and not humans who may be near the machine.
