Doctors test self-serve system

RedOrbit: Healthcare is the latest business sector to implement the swipe method for automated customer transactions. When patients arrive for an appointment, they register by swiping a driver's license or credit card at a kiosk.

Patients also can verify insurance information, electronically sign consent forms and settle co-payments.
