CHICAGO -- NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display of America Inc., a stand-alone vendor of flat panel desktop displays, promoted of T.J. Trojan to president and chief operating officer.
Effective today, Trojan will be responsible for NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display's strategic direction in North America, expanding the company's growth in new display applications for consumers, businesses and specialty markets, according to a news release.
Having most recently served as senior vice president, Trojan succeeds Sadao Yamazaki who is retiring as president after a long career in technology management.
"During this next phase of NEC-Mitsubishi's maturity and into the future, T.J.'s leadership skills, business acumen and technical knowledge will be a driving force in accelerating the adoption of the company's large LCD information displays for conference presentations, information kiosks, financial exchanges, public displays, trade show exhibits, and retail and airport signage," said Hirotoshi Matsuda, president of NEC-Mitsubishi Electric Visual Systems and CEO of NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display.
A seasoned operations executive with experience in LCD and CRT monitors, Trojan brings more than two decades of industry experience to his new role as president and COO.
