Disneyland to introduce kiosk for paperless ride passes

Disneyland will introduce a FastPass touchscreen kiosk for three Tomorrowland rides to provide visitors paperless reservations tied to its mobile app, beginning on Oct. 15, according to an Orange County Register report.

The kiosk will dispense FastPasses for the Space Mountain, Star Tours and Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters attractions on a trial basis. The paperless reservations will replace paper FastPasses. Visitors will be restricted to one FastPass at a time at the kiosk.

Visitors not using the Disneyland app can take a photo of the FastPass kiosk touchscreen with their smartphone to confirm their ride return time.
