Disneyland attractions replace FastPass kiosks with app-based service

Disneyland attractions have removed FastPass kiosks, replacing the technology with its Genie+ and Lightning Lane, according to a report in WDW News Today, a Disneyland fan site which is not affiliated with the Walt Disney Co.

Kiosks have been removed at Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Indiana Jones Adventure and Soarin' Around the World at Disney California Adventure, according to the report.

In August, WDW News Today reported that the company announced plans to replace FastPass kiosks with Disney Genie+ and Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. The Disney Genie service is free and is built into the My Disney Experience and Disneyland App.

The company did not respond to a Kiosk Marketplace request for comment at the time of this report.
