Disney Home Entertainment CEO defends 'Alice' street date decision

According to HomeMediaMagazine.com, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment CEO Bob Iger recently defended his company's decision to make the hit movie "Alice in Wonderlan" available in rental kiosk like redbox on the new release's street date.

Iger told investors that distributing content through older media platforms and maintaining that revenue stream should not preclude moving into newer distribution loci as people continue to flock to them.
