BOSTON - directbanking.com today announced the opening of its first interactive branch at 52 Congress Street in Boston. The new bank offers online banking with personalized support.
The new branch will feature six Video Banker Internet kiosks with video conferencing capabilities, a stock ticker and on-site staff to help customers navigate the options that are now available to them. In addition, customers will be able to participate in live video conferencing with financial consultants or learn the nuances of Internet banking from trained professionals. The branch will also be staffed to serve more traditional customers.
Eventually, new and potential customers can use directbanking.com's leading-edge interactive banking station for all aspects of account setup. Customers will soon be able to scan personal identification and open an account via video conference with a customer service representative. Eventually customers will receive a valid, temporary ATM card and temporary checks within half an hour. Three conference rooms will also be available to clients for private banking matters and other business activities.
