Digital Signage Association names EnQii exec its first president

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Advisory Board of theDigital Signage Associationhas elected Stu Armstrong, president of EnQii North America, its first president. According to a news release, along with Armstrong, the association also elected vice presidents and named members to its first executive committee.
Elected officers include: • President, Stu Armstrong • Vice presidents of vendors, Charles Ansley of Symon Communications and Dick Trask ofScala• Vice president of users, Margot Myers of the United States Postal Service • Vice president of integrators and Pro A/V, Tom Johnson of Digital AV • Vice president of network operators, Rocky Gunderson of SeeSaw Networks • Vice president of agencies and brands, Jacquelyn Corbett Cyr of Espresso | Brand Infiltration
"The contribution of the Digital Signage Association and its membership is critically important to the growth of the industry," Armstrong said. "As the DSA advisory board's first president, I hope to start paving the way for the Association to contribute to the accelerated industry growth and excellence of digital signage deployments worldwide."
The Digital Signage Association was formed in October 2007 and has more than 100 members. The advisory board is expected to hold its next meeting Sept. 16 in Philadelphia, in conjunction with the Digital Signage Expo East.
