Digital healthcare provider Babylon acquires Higi

Babylon, a Palo Alto, California based digital healthcare provider, has acquired Higi SH Holdings Inc., a consumer health engagement company, for an undisclosed sum, according to a press release. Combining Babylon's technology platform with Higi's remote monitoring capabilities via its Smart Health Stations, at-home connected devices and 50-state clinical network. The combined company will meet the needs of payers, providers and retailers on the front lines of care delivery.

In 2021, the Higi network hosted 11 million sessions where consumers engaged with their various remote monitoring platforms to check in with or better understand their health.
