September 3, 2008

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Kiosk manufacturer ImageXpres Corp. is pushing its iPowerStation kiosk for the digital-advertising content it can provide to high traffic locations, such as airports, rerstaurants, shopping centers and vacation resorts.

According to a news release, the kiosk includes an eCharging station that also allows users to recharge cellphones, iPods and laptop computers, as well as provide free online access . Featured advertisers can provide discount coupons and rewards in return for viewing a 30-second advertisement.
"The ImageXpres iPowerStation kiosk and LitePix Digital Advertising Screens signal the beginning of new systems architecture for digital-interactive-kiosk systems," said John Zankowski, ImageXpres president and chief executive. "This is the first of several new kiosk systems we have been developing for the past year, and one that should prove to be very attractive to paid advertising customers desiring to reach large numbers of consumers where they shop, work and travel."
