The departure of Ulrich Näher, Diebold Nixdorf Inc.'s chief commercial officer, is part of a shift to a leaner business model, a spokesperson for the company said Friday, according to a Marketwatch report.
The company disclosed in a regulatory filing that Näher will be leaving effective Sept. 30 and will receive severance payments assuming certain conditions are met.
Company executives in May said it is implementing a $150 million cost-reduction program over 12 to 18 months to eliminate redundancies.
As a global technology leader and innovative services provider, Diebold Nixdorf delivers the solutions that enable financial institutions and retailers to improve efficiencies, protect assets and better serve consumers.
