Detroit power outage leaves many EV owners without mobility

A power outage in metro Detroit last week has left many EV owners unable to charge their vehicles, according to a wxyz.com report. The problem is not restricted to homeowner EV chargers, as some commercial chargers are also not working.

Electrify America, which operates many of the chargers, said there is not much they can do when power is down, but noted gasoline stations also require electric power to operate.
