Detroit residents now have another option to make bond payments, pay fees in landlord-tenant matters and pay other court costs at Detroit's 36th District Court, thanks to DivDat Kiosks, according to a Detroit News report.
The court has teamed with DivDat Kiosk Network to better serve citizens during the COVID-19 pandemic. Plaintiffs and defendants can file cases electronically, respond to motions or submit a credit card payments online rather than mailing them to the courthouse. Once a payment is submitted, the defendant or litigant will receive confirmation email.
