PlannedLegacy Inc. has developed its first product for the college sports market, called SportsLegacy, and plans to introduce it at the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics convention in Florida in June.
The Winnipeg-based design firm created software for an interactive, multimedia display for the University of Arizona School of Golf Hall of Fame. It is partnering with Portland, Ore.-based Presentation Design Group.
Marshall Posner, president of PlannedLegacy, said his 20-employee company has clients in the hospital, college and non-profit markets, for whom it has built donor recognition displays.
"SportsLegacy takes history out of the boxes and brings it to life," Posner said in an interview with the Winnipeg Sun. "It's the next stop from doing the old, static-donor-name-on-the-wall sort of thing."
PlannedLegacy was in the news recently with an e-tithing kiosk it created for the Catholic diocese in Baton Rouge, La. See story (Diocese implementing kiosk for e-giving).
