Demmel introducing new MagnaMouse to kiosk industry

PHOENIX -- Germany-based Demmel, a metal keypad fabricator, plans to introduce the newest MagnaMouse technology to the kiosk industry.

Demmel has adapted Duraswitch's MagnaMouse multi-directional switch technology with a metal overlay, according to a Duraswitch news release.

The metal overlay adds another layer of protection to the MagnaMouse, but at a lower cost than other technologies, according to the release. The product will be on display at electronica 2002 in Munich, Germany, Nov. 12-14.

The MagnaMouse is a multi-directional cursor that can be integrated into a panel.
