Delaware courts deploy kiosk to collect child support payments

The state courts have deployed kiosks to collect a variety of payments for court fees, fines and child support payments.

The Administrative Office of the Court's Office of State Court Collections Enforcement in Delaware has deployed additional bill-payment kiosks throughout the state. The kiosks are designed to accept child support payments and other court fees, according to areportby Delaware 105.9FM.

The kiosks are powered by TouchPay and are located at DMV offices in three Delaware counties. The state first launched the kiosk program in 2011, and it handled more than 6,000 transactions in 2015.

The kiosks are designed to accept payment for fines by the Justice of the Peace Court, Family Court, Court of Common Pleas and the Department of Correction. The kiosk can also support payments for criminal fines and assessments from the Superior Court, according to the report.
