KIOSKmarketplace reported this month that Degasoft acquired $3 million in financing from The Venturos Group. Ibsen said that the company planned to use the funds to increase its sales and marketing presence in Europe. Degasoft will also use the money to expand its new London headquarters and further develop Kudos, Ibsen said.

Ibsen joined the company in April from Ford Motor Company and guided its move from Iceland to London. He said he expects to raise another $5 million in a second round of funding
