DeCurtis Corp. deployed its DeCurtis Shield at Cape Henry Collegiate in Virginia Beach, Virginia, to automate the temperature screening process as part of its new health and safety initiative due to COVID-19.
"We needed a temperature screening solution that would accurately assess temperature regardless of the environmental elements," Sarah William, director of operations, Cape Henry Collegiate, said in the press release. "A manual process is time-consuming and would not provide the accurate readings we wanted. We are thrilled with our choice of using DeCurtis Shield."
Kiosks are used at entry and exit points on campus to screen for elevated body temperature. The kiosks will assess temperature using smart thermography cameras at the brain thermal tunnel with a patent-pending methodology to provide the fastest and most accurate body temperature.
