DecisionPoint debuts tablet-based ordering solutions for retail

DecisionPoint Systems Inc., a provider of mobile and wireless systems for retailers, has unveiled a tablet-based ordering solution at the National Retail Federation EXPO, being held in New York City through Jan. 18.

According to the company, DecisionPoint's focus is on improving productivity and enhancing the shopping experience in the retail store. DecisionPoint is exhibiting its Android-based order management solutions running on an enterprise tablet in Booth #1702.

In-Aisle Ordering: DecisionPoint's tablet-based, in-aisle ordering application boosts productivity and sales and is engineered to work on virtually any tablet. The ability to enter product orders right in the aisle improves employee productivity and ensures retailers know what they have in stock, what needs to be ordered and when they will need it — all in real-time.

Create Your Look Application: Providing an exceptional shopping experience is vital to a retailer's success, and assisting customers on a more personalized level drives loyalty. The Create Your Look application enables store associates to assist customers with their selections, purchases and placement of orders on tablets as they move freely about the store.
