Cure@Home kiosks promote health in India

Moneycontrol.com: The government of India's Centre for Development of Advanced Computing has released a healthcare educational tool called Cure@Home, which can be deployed on personal computers or kiosks. Cure@Home educates the public about health and disease prevention. It can be used at home, clinics, hospitals, healthcare centers and schools. It offers home remedies for diseases and symptoms, as well as advice on diet and lifestyle according to constitution, diseases, seasons, etc. The features also include a multimedia gallery for easy perception and interactive applications like a Body Mass Index calculator, Waist Hip Ratio calculator, Immunization Scheduler and Expected Date of Delivery calculator.
