Cummins Allison intros new self-serve coin counter

November 5, 2013

Cummins Allison has announced an addition of the Money Machine 2 to its line of self-service coin counters.

The device features a greater overall capacity with 16 sorted bags, for a combined capacity of 72,000 coins, according to a news release. An interactive LCD display allows for a more visual management for tellers and also keeps training to a minimum.

Financial institutions can also select a high-capacity bin unit, featuring ultra-strong polymer bins that can be stacked for convenient storage, the release said. Bin models feature up to 70,000 mixed coin capacity.

"Self-service coin redemption is an essential service for customers and it keeps tellers focused on high-value tasks, while increasing cross-selling opportunities," said Jim Weaks, vice president, Cummins Allison. "The addition of Money Machine 2 to our portfolio provides greater enhancements that FIs will appreciate. Backed by our commitment to deliver the most dependable coin-counting equipment and services, we believe Money Machine 2 allows virtually any bank or credit union to add coin counting services to their operation."
