CTA Digital has introduced its inductive charging case for iPad that includes a backplate that creates a docking station that eliminates the hassle of losing cables or forgetting to plug in, according to a press release.

The user connects the dock into a wall outlet or power source, then plugs an iPad into the case's charging port. Once the case battery pack aligns to the dock's battery pad, an electromagnetic field generates a wireless current that charges the battery.

The case can be removed from the dock and held by its cushioned strap for seamless use on the go. The unit can attach directly to the wall or to any VESA-compatible mount for charging without obstructing any ports or buttons.
