Cryptocurrency ATM provider tests kiosks for bill payment services

Alpha BTC, an Omaha, Nebraska-based provider of cryptocurrency ATMs, has been working with Maya, a cellular replacement parts distributor that provides financial services for underserved communities in the U.S. and abroad, to bring five of Maya's 50 self-service payment kiosks to Omaha, according to Silicon Prairie News. In addition to the five kiosks in Omaha, Alpha BTC also has kiosks in Lincoln, Nebraska, and Fargo, North Dakota.

Edward Weniger, president of Alpha BTC, said the company is testing locations for the kiosks and has strategically placed the machines in retail stores, laundromats and a supermarket.
