In an effort to establish safety for the women of Andrha Pradesh, India, Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister N. Chinarajappa and Director-General of Police J.V. Ramudu launched the Instant Complaint Login Internet Kiosk, or iClik, center and the "Abhayam-safety for sure" mobile application pilot program, according to an article in The New Indian Express. The kiosk and app will allow women to file complaints of crimes against them. The solutions were developed in light of the recent rise of crimes against women in the area.

Ramudu said that the mobile app and kiosk centers will be deployed statewide after a study of the public's response to the project. The government will monitor the success of the program before making the final decision, the article said. A 40- to 50-percent response will allow the project to be extended to areas of the state, the article said.

The mobile app was developed by Logicshore, a Benguluru, India-based company. CoLeague Solutions, also a Benguluru-based company, designed the iClik services, the article said. Users can download the app via Google.
