Court access kiosks come to Arkansas

Visitors to the Van Buren County, Arkansas Circuit Court can access records, print exhibits, find court forms and apply for legal aid at a recently installed self-serve kiosk, one of 112 to be installed statewide, according to a press release.
Videos and FAQs are available to make legal concepts easier to understand. The public can also access these resources by visiting ARCourtKiosk.org.
The Van Buren County Circuit Court kiosk is a part of a statewide program called AR Courthouse Kiosks, a partnership between the Arkansas Access to Justice Foundation, the Court Improvement Program and the Administrative Office of the Courts.
The additional kiosks will be installed in the coming months to every circuit court and select district courts.
The program's goal is to have at least one kiosk available in every county.
Funding for this project was provided by the Administrative Office of the Courts through a federal grant.
