County health department in Michigan receives telemedicine kiosk

Lake County has become the first county in Michigan to receive a MedNow telemedicine kiosk outside of a hospital, according to 9 & 10 News. The kiosk, which enables patients to video chat with doctors, has been installed at the county district health department in Baldwin.

Patients ages three and above will have access to treatment by coming to the health department in Baldwin.

The tool has been available in Spectrum Health hospitals for a few years.
