NCR Corp. announced today that Copa Airlines has selected its travel technology to boost its portfolio of services to passengers.
Copa Airlines will launch an NCR-devopled iPhone app that will allow users to search flight schedules, check flight statuses, check-in for flights and download mobile boarding passes. When Copa passengers use the app for check-in, electronic boarding passes can be delivered directly to passengers' mobile phones. In addition, Copa will use the NCR APTRA eMarketing platform to email boarding passes to travelers who chose that method of delivery.
Copa also purchased NCR's Web check-in software and will integrate it across all airline systems, including the NCR self-service check-in kiosks, mobile app and website.
"Copa has a tradition of making the travel experience easier for its passengers," said Tyler Craig, vice president and general manager for NCR Travel. "The airline remains at the forefront by implementing a self-service infrastructure to enable easy and consistent omnichannel interaction for its passengers."
