Zoo Osnabrück in Germany has implemented the Convious Kiosk self-service ticketing machines, which have resulted in faster entry, shorter queues and a boost in sales, according to a Bloo Loop report. The kiosks, which are fully integrated with the Convious eCommerce platform, allow visitors to purchase tickets, upgrades and experiences directly at the venue without staff assistance.
The new system has been well-received by guests. "With around 50% of our visitors now using the kiosks, we've significantly reduced wait times," Nico Korte, Zoo Osnabrück's marketing director, told the news outlet. "It's created a more fulfilling role for staff and a more personal experience for visitors. Don't just think of it as a technical upgrade. Think of it as a chance to rethink how you welcome your guests."
Venues using the Convious Kiosk have reported a 30% increase in on-site conversions and a 25% reduction in queue times. The technology also allows for real-time performance tracking and the ability to instantly modify offerings and promotions. The system is suitable for various attractions, including zoos, aquariums, museums and theme parks.
