The convenience services industry is seeking to exempt micro markets from a Delaware proposal to require businesses to accept cash. The bill, HB 200, passed by the state house of representatives in May and sent to the state senate, includes exemptions for parking services, online purchases, mail purchases and sporting and entertainment events.

The National Automatic Merchandising Association has encouraged lawmakers to include micro markets in the exemptions, according to NAMA's weekly regulatory update.
