FRESNO, Calif. — Continental Prison Systems Inc., a provider of cashless prison kiosk and exit card technology, has unveiled a new "electronic message" service that can be used from lobby kiosks.
According to a news release, a visitor can type a message that is printed in the facility mail room and delivered to an inmate with the regular mail. This gives a family member the opportunity to send a one-way message to the inmate instead of having to write and mail a letter.
Continental offers city and county jails a number of products and services that streamline and reduce many operational financial obligations. The company offers Prison Systems financial products and proprietary kiosk technology that streamline the inmate release process and provide for significant cost reducing processes of loading funds to an inmate's account over the internet or through a kiosk. Bail can also be processed through a kiosk placed in the booking room or online.
