CORK, Ireland -- Purcell & Associates, a consulting firm for the self-service kiosk industry, plans to produce a publication entitled, "The Self-Service Kiosk Industry Reference Book 2003/04."
According to a news release, the publication will be a reference guide for the global self-service kiosk industry, providing trends and forecasts, market drivers and restraints as well as a comprehensive listing of suppliers, vendors, trade shows, publications and online resources in the self-service kiosk world.
Purcell & Associates will partner with Summit Research Associates for the book's trends and forecasts section.
"We are pleased to be joining forces with Purcell and Associates on this much-needed publication," said Francie Mendelsohn, president of Summit Research Associates, in the release. "We believe that by combining the core strengths of each company, we will produce a valuable -- and unique -- resource for the self-service/kiosk industry."
The book will include industry leader interviews from many vertical markets that have deployed kiosks, such as retail, travel/transportation, hospitality/leisure, financial services and telecoms
Other features will include: a new service entitled Transigo to assist organizations in the sourcing and procurement of self-service technology; three possible "How To" guides covering kiosk project management, specifying of kiosk hardware and specifying of kiosk software; and world kiosk industry association information from kiosks.org.
"Many of our clients have requested information that simply wasn't available in the market or was only available after sifting through mountains of paper, hours of interviews or many, many Web pages," said John Purcell, managing partner of Purcell & Associates, in the release.
