ePaynews: U.S.-based drinks firm Concordia Coffee is the latest to use kiosks as a sales channel in launching its unattended espresso bar for installation at hotels, airports, retail stores and medical centers. Debit, credit and stored-value payment cards are accepted at each self-service coffee bar, as are coins and bills, and customers have 24/7 access to a centralized Concordia call center, if needed. Instead of building and staffing a café at a specific site, barista operators can set up Concordia's new self-service espresso bar to dispense top-quality gourmet, flavored coffee as customers wish.
