MARKHAM, Ontario - Compar Corp., kiosk manufacturer and interactive display solutions provider, has launched two new kiosk designs - the Podium I and the Wave.
Podium I is suitable for use as an interactive extension of a sales force, for point-of-purchase promotion or for additional income from digital messaging. Hardware options are available for audio and the capability to handle different visual formats, featuring compact flash cards.
"Podium I is simple and easy to use. The unit accepts MPEG video, still pictures, jpegs and mp3 audio. It's a flexible, modern way to grab your customer's attention, deliver your message and reinforce brand loyalty," said Geoff Weber, Compar president.
Wave features an open design incorporating a glass shelf that accommodates a card-swipe unit and the output for an 8.5-inch thermal paper printer. Wave was designed with built-in configuration capabilities like static signage or digital signage.
"Display flexibility is an important element in kiosk design," said Weber. "Every one of our customers has different requirements, applications and kiosk environments. Wave's display flexibility allows you to have a combination of kiosks in one location - with or without signage - while maintaining the same look."
This flexibility is provided by removable overhead signage for shipping or added as an upgrade onsite.
