Company wants to make its kiosks wireless

HOUSTON -- Affordable Telecommunications Technology Corp. (OTC: ATCT.PK), a marketer of wireless telecommunications products and services, says that it has begun developing a nationwide wireless broadband service using a wireless fidelity or "Wi-Fi" signal.

Through a subsidiary company, Z Mail Media, Inc., Affordable provides public access Internet kiosks in tourist locations in the western U.S. According to a news release, the Z Mail "Z-Stations" will be upgraded to provide a Wi-Fi signal.

Steve Bethke, chief executive and president of Affordable Telecommunications Technology, said in the release, "More and more computers, PDA's and other mobile devices are being equipped to operate with wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) and we are positioning ourselves to capture part of that market."
