Company reaching new heights with elevator kiosks

CENTER CONWAY, N.H. -- Kiosk and industrial computer developer White Mountain Solutions has signed an agreement to design and manufacture customized multi-media kiosks for elevators.

New Hampshire-based White Mountain Solutions is making the wall mount digital display units (DDUs) for The Elevator Channel, which provides advertising, information and entertainment services in elevators.

The Elevator Channel plans to buy at least 54 DDUs from White Mountain Solutions through December, according to a White Mountain news release. The release did not indicate specific locations where the units would be installed.

The DDU is a self-contained wall-mount kiosk that uses a chassis design and high-luminance flat panel display. The unit operates on DC voltage and offers two viewing angles -- flush or tilted -- depending on elevator height specifications.

White Mountain Solutions plans to deliver the DDUs as turnkey solutions, with operating systems and tailored applications based on specific requirements from The Elevator Channel.
