Company marketing lottery tickets to Vietnamese via touchscreen kiosks

SAN DIEGO -- Nevada-based Rimpac Resources, Ltd. (OTCBB: RIMP) has signed a network of 815 Internet cafes in Vietnam as affiliates to assist in the promotion and sales of e-lottery tickets through Internet kiosks and its Web site, InternetLOTO.com, according to a company news release.

"InternetLOTO.com is currently in discussion with various Vietnamese partners in casinos, sport-betting venues and race tracks to assist in the distribution and sales of e-lottery tickets via touchscreen kiosks," said Thomas M. Johnson, Rimpac's president and CEO.

Many of Vietnam's more than 90 million residents play the National Lottery, which generated more than $1 billion in sales in 2001, according to the release.
