Colorado residents will be able register their vehicles at self-service kiosks installed by the state department of motor vehicles, saving them a trip to the DMV office, according to a fox21news.com report.

Users can renew plates by scanning their renewal postcard or typing in their license plate number, paying their taxes and fee via card, check or cash. The kiosk automatically prints their registration tab.

A total of 29 counties now have the kiosks.

Fees will be around $3 to $3.95 per vehicle with a 2.3%-2.4% charge for credit and debit cards and a 50-cent charge per check.
