Coinstar's 3Q profit surges 72% on coin machines, movie rentals

CNNMoney.com: Coinstar Inc. said its third-quarter profit surged 72 percent as the company's coin-counting machines and movie-rental kiosks collected more from customers. Coinstar earned $9.1 million, or 32 cents per share, in the third quarter, compared with profit of $5.3 million, or 19 cents per share, in the third quarter of 2006.
