Coinstar, Pendum announce currency transport deal

WESTMONT, Ill. — ATM maintenance and armored services provider Pendum Inc. has signed an agreement with Coinstar Inc. to provide coin and currency transportation services for its coin-counting kiosks.

The agreement will be effective only in select markets, according to a news release.

In addition to providing transportation services to Coinstar machines and other kiosks, Pendum recently expanded its services to provide hardware sales and maintenance for cash dispensing and recycling equipment used by banks and retail stores. The company also is providing armored and maintenance services for transaction terminals used in casinos and other gaming establishments.

Pendum, created through the 2006 merger of Efmark Premium Armored and Bantek West, will showcase its expansive service portfolio at this year's BAI Retail Delivery Show in Las Vegas, Nov. 14-16, in booth #2214.
