Coin Cloud taps KeyMe’s Michael Tomlinson

Coin Cloud, which operates digital currency machines, has named Michael Tomlinson as chief revenue officer as the company has surpassed its 1,100 machine placements worldwide, according to a press release. He joins Coin Cloud from KeyMe.
Prior to KeyMe, Tomlinson held senior positions at CoinStar, Redbox and ZoomSystems.
Tomlinson's experiences include:
- Partnered with 7-Eleven's Innovation and category teams to launch and grow a network of KeyMe kiosks in both corporate and franchise stores.
- Pioneered the first fully automated in-aisle shrink solution in the supermarket channel with SuperValu and ZoomSystems.
- Launched the first self-service coin-counting program in the drug store channel with CVS's treasury team.
- Worked with Albertsons to deliver Outerwall's first 4th Wall agreement for its portfolio of products including Redbox, Coinstar and Amusement Vending.
- Worked with the Rite Aid operations and merchandising teams to launch the first self-service key duplication in the drug store channel.
