Cleveland seeks proposals for smart parking kiosks

The city of Cleveland is seeking proposals to replace its pole-mounted, single-space electronic parking meters with either all multi-space parking meters or a mixture of mostly MSPMs and some single-space parking meters, according to a request for proposal.

Vendors are invited to provide and deploy new smart meter hardware and software, to establish a mobile parking payment service platform and to equip a number of city parking division vehicles so they can conduct mobile enforcement patrols.

While the city does not seek to implement a virtual permit management platform at this time, it is requesting vendors that can provide such a platform to describe the features, functions and capabilities of their virtual permit management software module.
