Clarinet, Info Touch sing the same tune

CHICAGO - Clarinet Systemsand Info Touch Technologieshave entered a strategic alliance that will enable users of Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) to point to a public Internet kiosk and download e-mail in a matter of seconds.

Clarinet, which provides wireless connectivity solutions for handheld devices, will participate in a test deployment of Info Touch wireless-enabled kiosks this fall at retail and telecommunications outlets in North America. Info Touch provides kiosk software and has clients throughout the world.

The joint announcement was made during the Retail Systems 2001 trade show in Chicago by Info Touch chairman and CEO Hamed Shahbazi and Wen Chang of Clarinet Systems.
