City of Tuscaloosa, Alabama installs job kiosk in Municipal Court Building

The city of Tuscaloosa, Alabama announced that it has partnered with West AlabamaWorks to install a Career Connect job kiosk in the lobby of Tuscaloosa's Municipal Court Building, according to a Patch report.
The city says that the placement of the kiosk is intentional: it aims to offer employment opportunities to people who are navigating court proceedings and may otherwise have a difficult time finding work.
"The goal of these kiosks is to meet people where they are, and allow them to apply for jobs instantly," Education and Employment Project Manager for West AlabamaWorks Tonya Mills told the news outlet. "We have kiosk located in accessible locations around the West Alabama community, and we are proud to add one to the Municipal Court Lobby in Tuscaloosa."
